Recently I met Amanda and John at the Brisbane Registry office where they were having an intimate ceremony with eight of their closest family members. Their reception was held at The Laneway Bar in Brisbane also, where a wonderful group of friends and family, many who had travelled long distances, met them to enjoy amazing food and drinks..
Small weddings are becoming very popular and they are definitely my favourite type of wedding! The bride (and groom) are generally less stressed and the couple enjoy themselves as it can be just them or a small group of family and friends there to celebrate with them. Most brides say it was just the easiest thing to do and at the end of the day, you’re marrying your best friend.
